How to generate product pages with Atlas

Atlas lets you generate professional product pages powered by AI. You can pull products from Amazon, AliExpress, Alibaba, Shopify, or any website with a custom URL, and Atlas will build optimized product pages ready to publish to your store.

You can access this flow from the Atlas dashboard by clicking Build AI pages under AI page builder in the Explore Atlas tools section.

Step 1: Add products

The first screen asks you to add the products you want to generate pages for. You can add between 1 and 20 products at a time.

There are two ways to add products:

Paste a product URL

Enter a product link from any of the following sources and click Add:

Amazon — paste any Amazon product URL
AliExpress — paste any AliExpress product URL
Alibaba — paste any Alibaba product URL
Shopify — paste a product URL from any Shopify store
Custom domain — paste a product URL from any other website. This is useful if your product is listed on a platform Atlas doesn't have a dedicated icon for, or if you want to use your own website as the source

Each product will appear as a card on the same screen after you add it. You can review your selections, remove any product by clicking the trash icon, and continue adding more until you're ready.

Select from your Shopify catalog

If your products are already in Shopify, click Or, select from your Shopify catalog to open a product picker. This will display all the products in your store. Use the search bar or filters to find specific products, select up to 20, and click Select.

💡 Tip: Pages with full descriptions and images give the best results. If your product listings are thin on detail, consider adding more information before generating.

Once you've added your products, click Confirm product(s) to move to the next step.

Step 2: Choose setup

Atlas will briefly analyze your products and pull in their details. Once that's done, you'll land on the "Choose setup" screen.

This step lets you pick how your product pages will be designed. There are three options:

Let Atlas decide for you

Atlas AI will automatically choose and configure the best template for your store. The only setting here is Store language, which determines the language your product pages will be generated in.

Available languages: English (US), Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Arabic.

After selecting your language, click Build AI product pages to start generating. Atlas will skip straight to building your pages.

Use Atlas templates

This option lets you browse and choose from Atlas's library of high-converting, AI-optimized templates.

Clicking this card opens a full-screen template picker with three tabs:

All templates — shows every available template
Atlas default templates — templates built and maintained by Atlas
Expert templates — templates created by influencers (more coming soon)

Each template shows a preview image, a name, how many stores are using it, and a preview icon that opens a live demo of the template. Use the search bar or sort options to find the right fit, then click Select template and Confirm selection.

After confirming, you'll move to an additional review step (Step 3) before building. This is the only option that includes the review step.

Use your own theme templates

This option lets you use a template from one of your existing Shopify themes as the base layout for your new AI pages.

Clicking this card opens a popup with two settings:

Theme — select which of your installed Shopify themes to pull templates from
Product Pages — choose which product page template from that theme to use as a base

Click Apply Templates to confirm your selection, then click Build AI product pages to start generating. Atlas will skip straight to building your pages.

Step 3: Review your product pages

This step only appears if you chose Use Atlas templates in Step 2.

Atlas has pre-selected a template and generated a customer persona based on your products. Personas shape the tone and copy of each page, so the content speaks directly to your ideal buyer.

You can review the selected template and persona, then click Edit product pages & personas to make changes.

The edit popup gives you control over:

Page Template — change the template or browse recent templates. You can also click View All to open the full template picker
Page Language — change the language for this page
Customer Persona — read the full persona profile. Click Regenerate Persona to have Atlas create a new one, or click Upload Research Doc to upload your own research document that Atlas will use to shape the persona and page copy

Click Save Configuration when you're done, or Discard Changes to keep the original settings.

When everything looks good, click Build AI product pages to start generating.

Building your pages

After clicking the build button, Atlas will generate your product pages. This process takes about a minute and goes through five stages:

Importing product data
AI conducting market research
AI writing sales copy
AI creating product pages
Finalizing your pages

Wait for the process to complete. You'll be taken to the page editor automatically when it's done.

Editing and publishing your pages

Once Atlas finishes generating, you'll land on the page editor where you can preview and customize your product pages before publishing.

The editor includes:

Theme colors — switch between the default and original color palettes, or click Change to customize
Page sections — expand and edit individual sections like Product information, Horizontal sliding text, Image with text, Scrolling images, Rich text, Reasons to buy, Icon guarantees, Comparison table, Customer reviews, Product key features, Collapsible content, and Contact us
Desktop/mobile toggle — preview how your page looks on both devices
Product switcher — if you generated multiple product pages, use the dropdown at the top to switch between them

Take your time editing. When you're happy with the result, click Publish pages in the top right corner.

A popup will show:

The pages about to be published
A Publishing to dropdown where you select which Shopify theme to receive the pages (defaults to your live theme)

⚠️ Warning: Publishing will replace any existing product pages for the same products on the selected theme. Make sure you're publishing to the right theme.

Click Publish to import your pages. You'll see a confirmation message with two options: Go to Atlas dashboard to return to Atlas, or Go to theme customizer to continue editing in Shopify's theme editor.
