It may appear when you open up your imported theme that it looks different or may be missing images that you say in the preview when you first generated the store.
Everything is fine! When you open up your theme editor you will see your home page. The preview was displaying your product page. All you need to do is switch to your product page and you will see exactly what you saw on the preview.
