When you first open Atlas, you'll go through a short onboarding flow to help set up your store. You can complete it step by step, skip it entirely, or come back to it later if you haven't finished yet. Here's how each option works.

Skipping setup
If you choose "Skip setup" or "No, I'll do this later", Atlas will exit the onboarding flow.
This is helpful if you want to jump straight into adding products, setting up payments and shipping, or exploring the app on your own.
⚠️ Skipping onboarding is permanent. Once you skip, you cannot return to the onboarding flow later.
Resuming setup
You can only resume onboarding if you haven't skipped or finished it yet. Atlas saves your progress automatically.
To continue where you left off:
In your Shopify admin, go to Apps → Atlas: AI Store Builder.
Follow the on-screen steps to continue onboarding.
Atlas will pick up from your last completed step.
What happens after onboarding
Once you finish or skip onboarding, Atlas will prompt you with a subscription screen. You'll need to either start your 7-day free trial or subscribe to the Atlas plan before you can access the app's features.
After subscribing, you'll have full access to every Atlas feature, including the AI page builder, bundle deals, cart upsells, AI product photos, and sales pages.
Can I restart onboarding?
No. Atlas onboarding is a one-time flow. You can pause and resume it as long as it's still in progress, but once you skip or complete it, it cannot be restarted.
