How to Create a Product Image
Step 1: Select Your Product
Click Browse products to open the product picker. Select the product you want to generate images for.
Once selected, you'll see:
The product name and handle
A thumbnail of the product
Reference images — Choose up to 4 images of your product to help the AI maintain consistency
Tip: Selecting multiple reference images helps the AI better understand your product's appearance from different angles.
Step 2: Select Product Category
Choose the category that best matches your product from the dropdown:
Clothing, fashion & wearables
Beauty & personal care
Home & kitchen
Fitness & outdoors
Electronics
Jewelry & accessories
This helps the AI understand how to properly photograph and display your product.
Step 3: Choose Generation Mode
Mode | Description |
Product | Generates a clean image of your product only |
Product + Model | Generates your product being worn, held, or used by an AI model |
If you select Product + Model, a new option appears:
Select a model — Click Browse Saved Models to choose from models you've previously created in the Model Image Generation tab.
Note: You must create and save at least one model before using the Product + Model mode. See the Model Image Generation article to learn how.
Step 4: Select Gender
Choose the target gender for your product:
Male
Female
Unisex
This setting is always visible regardless of generation mode and helps the AI style the image appropriately.
Step 5: Configure Style Controls
Style controls let you customize the environment, background, lighting, and mood of your product image.
Scene
Choose where your product will be photographed:

Angle
Set the camera perspective:

Step 6: Add Context (Optional)
In the Context for product images field, add any additional details you want the AI to consider. This field has a 2,500 character limit.
Example prompts you can use:
"Focus on the texture and stitching details"
"Use a white marble background"
"Capture a lifestyle moment, not just a product shot"
"Emphasize the eco-friendly packaging"
"Style with minimalist accessories"
Step 7: Generate Prompt
Click the Generate prompt button. The AI will create a detailed prompt based on all your settings. This appears in the "Your recommended prompt" section.
You can edit this prompt before generating. If something doesn't look right or you want to make adjustments, modify the JSON directly.
Step 8: Generate Image
Click the Generate Images button. Your image will be generated in approximately 5-10 seconds.
The generated image appears in the right panel. If you're not satisfied with the result, simply click Generate Images again to create a new variation.
Step 9: Save Your Image
When you're happy with the result:
Click Save Selected Images to save only selected images
Click Save All Images to save everything
Saved images are stored in the Saved Images tab.
