AI Product Photos: Model Image Generation

Model Image Generation allows you to create AI model avatars that you can save and reuse across multiple product images. You can design custom models with specific characteristics to match your brand.

What is a Saved Model?

A saved model is an AI-generated image of a person that you create once and use repeatedly. When you use "Product + Model" mode in Product Image Generation, you select from your saved models.

This ensures consistency across your product catalog — the same "model" can appear in multiple product photos.

How to Create a Model

Step 1: Name Your Model (Optional)

Enter a name in the Model Name field to help you identify this model later.

Examples:

  • "Sarah - Athletic Model"

  • "Professional Male Model"

  • "Young Casual Female"

Step 2: Upload Reference Image (Optional)

Click Upload image or drag and drop an image to use as a visual reference for the model's appearance.

This is optional but can help guide the AI toward a specific look.

Step 3: Define Model Characteristics

Configure the physical appearance of your model using the following options:

Gender

  • Male

  • Female

  • Non-Binary

Age Range

  • Young Adult (18-25)

  • Adult (25-35)

  • Middle-Aged (35-50)

  • Mature (50+)

Ethnicity / Appearance

  • Caucasian

  • African / Black

  • Asian

  • Hispanic / Latino

  • Middle Eastern

  • South Asian

  • Mixed / Multiracial

  • Custom

Body Type

  • Slim

  • Athletic

  • Average

  • Curvy

  • Plus-Size

  • Muscular

Step 4: Configure Hair

Hair Color

  • Black

  • Dark Brown

  • Light Brown

  • Blonde

  • Red / Auburn

  • Gray / Silver

  • White

  • Colored (unnatural)

  • Custom

Hair Length

  • Bald

  • Buzz Cut

  • Short

  • Medium

  • Long

  • Very Long

Hair Texture

  • Straight

  • Wavy

  • Curly

  • Coily / Kinky

Step 5: Configure Face

Eye Color

  • Brown

  • Dark Brown

  • Blue

  • Green

  • Hazel

  • Gray

  • Amber

Facial Hair

  • Clean-Shaven

  • Light Stubble

  • Heavy Stubble

  • Short Beard

  • Full Beard

  • Goatee

  • Mustache

  • N/A

Makeup

  • None

  • Natural / Minimal

  • Moderate

  • Glamorous / Bold

  • Artistic / Editorial

Skin Features

  • Clear Skin

Step 6: Set Expression / Mood

Choose the model's facial expression:

  • Neutral

  • Smiling

  • Confident

  • Serious

  • Thoughtful

  • Playful

  • Sultry

  • Candid / Natural

Step 7: Add Additional Context (Optional)

Use the Additional Context field to add any extra details about the model, outfit, accessories, or specific requirements.

Examples:

  • "Wearing minimal jewelry"

  • "Professional business attire"

  • "Casual weekend outfit"

  • "Athletic wear, ready for gym"

This field has a 2,500 character limit.

Step 8: Generate Prompt

Click Generate Prompt to create the AI prompt based on your selections. Review the generated prompt in the "Generated Prompt" section.

You can edit this prompt before generating if needed.

Step 9: Generate Model

Click Generate Model to create your AI model. Generation takes approximately 5-10 seconds.

The generated model image appears in the right panel under "Generated Model."

Step 10: Save Your Model

To save your model for future use:

  • Click Save Selected Models to save only selected models

  • Click Save All Models to save all generated models

Where to Find Saved Models

Saved models appear in two places:

  1. Browse Saved Models picker — When using "Product + Model" mode in Product Image Generation

  2. Saved Images tab — Along with all your other saved images

Managing Saved Models

To delete a saved model:

  1. Go to the Saved Images tab

  2. Find and select the model image

  3. Click Delete selected
