The Atlas AI page builder lets you generate high-converting home pages and product pages and import them directly into any Shopify theme. The entire process takes just a few minutes, from selecting your product to having a fully built page live on your store.

Accessing the page builder
Open the Atlas app from your Shopify admin.
On the Atlas dashboard, click the Build AI pages button under the "AI page builder" card in the "Explore Atlas tools" section.
This opens the page builder configuration screen where you'll set up everything before generating your page.
Configuring your page settings
Before generating your page, you'll need to configure a few settings:
Store language. Select the language for your page content. Atlas will generate all copy in the language you choose.
Research context (optional). Atlas uses an Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) to generate targeted, direct-response copy. Your research will be analyzed to extract ICP data including demographics, pain points, desires, objections, buying triggers, and preferred tone. You have four options:
None (auto-generated ICP). Atlas creates the ICP automatically based on the product data. This is the default and works well for most cases.
Enter research text. Paste your own customer research, audience notes, or ICP details directly into the text field.
Upload document (PDF/DOCX). Upload a file containing your customer insights or market research. Drag and drop or click Add file to upload.
Use saved profile. Select a previously saved ICP profile from the dropdown. Click Refresh profiles if you don't see a recently saved profile.
When using "Enter research text" or "Upload document," you'll see a Save as profile for reuse checkbox. Enabling this saves your research as a profile so you can quickly reuse it on future pages without re-entering the same information.
💡 If you have detailed knowledge of your target audience, providing your own research will help Atlas produce copy that speaks more directly to your ideal customer. Save it as a profile so you only need to set it up once.
Select theme to import into. Choose which Shopify theme you want the page to be imported into. This can be any theme installed on your store. You can also change this later at the import step.
Choosing a page type
Atlas offers three page type options:
Product page. Generates a single product page for one product.
Home page. Generates a home page for your store.
Home and Product. Generates both a home page and a product page in one go, using the same product.
⚠️ Selecting Home page or Home and Product will replace the existing home page in your selected theme. Make sure you're okay with this before proceeding.
Selecting a template
Atlas uses templates to define the layout and visual structure of your page. The default template is "Atlas Default," but you can browse additional options by clicking Change template.
This opens the template library where you can browse all available templates. Each template shows a preview and how many stores are currently using it. You can filter by:
All templates. View every template available.
Atlas default templates. Templates built by the Atlas team.
Expert templates. Templates designed by experienced ecommerce operators.
You can also search for a specific template by name or preview any template in desktop view before selecting it. New templates are added regularly.
Use your own product page as template. If you already have a product page layout you like, you can select this option instead. Atlas will copy the layout and styling from your existing page and generate new text and images for the new product.
ℹ️ Templates control the page layout and section structure, not your brand colors or content. You can customize colors, text, and images after the page is generated.
Choosing your product source
Select where your product is coming from. Atlas supports six product sources:
Shopify. Pull from a product already in your Shopify store.
AliExpress. Paste a valid AliExpress product link.
Amazon. Paste a valid Amazon product link.
Alibaba. Paste a valid Alibaba product link.
Etsy. Paste a valid Etsy product link.
Custom website. Paste a product link from any other website.
For external sources, paste the full product URL into the field that appears after selecting the source. Atlas will pull the product data, images, and details automatically.
Page generation
Atlas will now build your page. You'll see a progress screen showing each step:
Importing product data
AI conducting market research
AI writing sales copy
Updating layout
Finalizing
This process takes a few minutes. Stay on the page while Atlas completes the generation. Once finished, you'll be taken to the customization screen.
Selecting product images
After clicking Proceed, Atlas will pull the available product images from your selected source. You'll see a selection screen where you can:
Choose which images to include on your page.
Upload your own images by dragging and dropping files or clicking Add Image.
ℹ️ You need to select a minimum of 4 product images. The more high-quality images you provide, the better your page will look.
Once you've selected your images, click proceed to continue the process.
Customizing your page
After selecting your product images, you'll land on the "Customize your page" screen. Here you can edit your page before importing it. The customization panel includes sections for:
Colors (solid, gradient, presets, and custom)
Product Information
Most Common Questions
Visuals & Media
Text & Interactive Section
Persuasion & Benefits
A live preview of your page appears on the right side so you can see changes in real time.
You can customize your page here or skip this step and edit it later in your Shopify theme editor. For a detailed walkthrough of each customization option, see [Customizing your page before importing].
💡 You'll be able to fully customize your page after the generation is complete. If you'd rather fine-tune things later, you can import the page as-is and make changes in your theme editor.
Importing your page
When you're ready, click the Import your page button in the top right corner.
A confirmation popup will appear showing:
The theme you're importing into (you can change this here if needed).
What will be imported (e.g., "1 Product page import").
Click Import your page to confirm. Atlas will import the page into your selected theme. Once the import is complete, you'll see a "Page import successful" confirmation screen.
From here you can:
View your store to see the live page.
Go back to dashboard to return to the Atlas main screen.
⚠️ Your page goes live immediately after import. If you want to review it before customers see it, import it into an unpublished theme first.
After import
Your imported page will appear in the "Your recent pages" section on the Atlas Main dashboard. Each entry shows:
The page name and product
Which theme it was imported into
The template used
Its status (Imported, Generated)
The page type (Product page, Home page, Home + Product)
The date it was imported
If you see a pencil icon next to a page, it means you generated the page but haven't imported it yet. Clicking it will take you back to the customization screen so you can finish the process.
Once a page is imported, any further edits are made directly in the Shopify theme editor. For details on customizing your page before import, see [Customizing your page before importing].
