When you're ready to create a bundle, Atlas gives you three ways to get started: pick a pre-built template, build from scratch, or let the AI wizard generate offers for you. All three paths lead to the same bundle editor, just with different starting points.
This article walks you through the template selection screen and each creation method so you can choose the best approach for your store.
In this article:
Opening the template selector
From the Bundle Deals dashboard, click the Create bundle button in the top right corner. This opens the template selection screen where you can browse all available templates, create from scratch, or start with the AI wizard.
Understanding the template tabs
The template selector has four tabs at the top. Each tab shows a different category of templates, and the search bar searches only within the tab you're currently viewing.
All Templates
This tab shows every available template across all categories in one view. Use it to browse everything at once if you're not sure which type you need.
Bundle Templates
Bundle Templates are complete, ready-to-use bundle configurations. Each one comes with multiple pre-built offers already set up with pricing, titles, badges, and descriptions. When you select a Bundle Template, it loads the entire bundle structure into the editor for you to customize.
You can only select one Bundle Template per bundle.
Available Bundle Templates include: Buy X Get Y, Volume Discount, Buy X Get Y + Volume Discount, Complete the Look, and Special Bundle + Free Gift. Each template card shows how many stores are currently using it, which gives you a sense of what's popular and proven.
Offer Templates
Offer Templates are individual offers you can add to a bundle one at a time. Unlike Bundle Templates, you can add multiple Offer Templates to the same bundle, which lets you mix and match different offer types to build a custom combination.
Available Offer Templates include: Buy 1 Get 50% OFF, Buy 2 Get 1 FREE, Buy 3 Get 2 FREE, Buy 1 (regular price), Buy 2 + Free Shipping, and Complete the look.
💡 You can combine a Bundle Template with additional Offer Templates. Start with a Bundle Template to get the base structure, then add individual Offer Templates on top to expand your offer.
Quantity Selector templates
Quantity Selector templates provide a visual, tier-based layout where customers choose a quantity level (like Standard, Good Deal, Most Popular, Best Value). These work well for products where you want to incentivize buying in larger quantities with a clear visual comparison.
You can only select one Quantity Selector template per bundle, and like Bundle Templates, they load a complete pre-configured bundle into the editor.
Available Quantity Selector templates include: Volume savings, Stock up bundle, BOGO deals, and Premium tiers.
Choosing a color theme
At the top of the template selector, you can toggle between Solid and Gradient color themes. Clicking a color swatch instantly updates all template previews to that color scheme, so you can see how your bundle will look before selecting a template.
Solid themes offer a range of neutral and warm tones, while Gradient themes provide more vibrant color combinations. The color you choose here is applied to the template when you proceed to the editor, where you can further customize it.
Previewing a template
Click on any template card to see a larger preview in the right-hand panel. This shows exactly how the bundle offer will look to your customers, including offer tiers, pricing, badges, and descriptions. Use this to compare templates before committing to one.
Creating a bundle from a template
To create a bundle using a template:
Browse the template tabs and click a template card to preview it.
Choose your preferred color theme (Solid or Gradient).
Click Select (for Bundle or Quantity Selector templates) or Add (for Offer Templates) to choose the template.
Click Proceed in the top right corner.
You'll be taken to the bundle editor with the template's offers, pricing, and settings pre-loaded. From there, you can customize everything: change titles, adjust pricing, add or remove offers, modify colors, and configure any other settings.
ℹ️ Selecting a template gives you a starting point, not a locked configuration. Every setting in the bundle editor is fully customizable after you proceed.
Creating a bundle from scratch
If you want full control from the start, click Create from Scratch in the right-hand panel under "Want to create a custom bundle?" This takes you directly to the bundle editor with no pre-loaded offers or settings. You'll build everything yourself: add your own offers, set pricing types, configure discounts, and customize the appearance.
This is the best option when you have a specific bundle structure in mind that doesn't match any existing template.
Creating a bundle with the AI wizard
Click Create using AI in the right-hand panel to let Atlas generate offers for you. This takes you to the bundle editor and opens the AI wizard tab directly.
The AI wizard asks you for a few inputs:
Select products: Choose which products the AI should use to build your bundle offers.
Cost of Goods Sold (COGS): Enter your direct cost for the product so the AI can create profitable pricing.
Number of offers: Set how many offer tiers the AI should generate.
Colors: Choose a primary and accent color for the bundle, with an option to use gradient badge colors.
Upsell: Optionally select an upsell product to include in the generated offers.
Gift: Optionally select a gift product to include.
Once you've filled in the inputs, click Generate AI recommended offers. The AI will instantly create your offers, which appear in the bundle editor ready to review and customize.
💡 The AI wizard is the fastest way to get a working bundle live. Generate the offers first, then fine-tune the titles, pricing, and badges to match your brand voice.
You can access the AI wizard at any time from the bundle editor by clicking AI wizard in the left sidebar under Customize, even if you started from a template or from scratch.
Next steps
Once you've created your bundle using any of these methods, you'll be in the bundle editor where you can configure every detail of your offers and settings. See Configuring bundle offers to learn how to set up individual offers with pricing, badges, and add-ons.
