Learn how to customize your Atlas-generated pages, theme styling, and product details after importing.

Everything Atlas generates is fully editable after import. Your pages are built using standard Shopify sections and blocks, which means you can customize anything the same way you would with any Shopify theme. Atlas builds the foundation for you, but you're in full control from that point forward.

In this article:

  1. What you can edit

  2. How to edit your page layout and design

  3. How to edit your products

What you can edit

After Atlas imports your pages, every element is yours to customize:

  • Page layout. Home pages, product pages, and all section content including text, images, and structure.

  • Theme styling. Fonts, colors, logo, spacing, and images.

  • Product details. Title, description, images, pricing, and variants.

  • Store settings. Store name, SEO metadata, preferences, and more.

There are no locked or restricted elements. Everything Atlas generates can be modified.

How to edit your page layout and design

To customize your page's design, layout, and section content:

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.

  2. Find the theme you imported your Atlas pages into and click Customize.

  3. Navigate to the page you want to edit (home page or product page).

  4. Use the theme editor to modify sections, rearrange blocks, update images, change colors, and adjust your layout.

💡 You can also make edits before importing using the Atlas customization screen. But for more advanced changes like rearranging sections or adding new blocks, the Shopify theme editor gives you full control.

If you're new to Shopify's theme editor, Shopify has a helpful guide on customizing your theme.

How to edit your products

To update product details like titles, descriptions, images, pricing, or variants:

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Products.

  2. Select the product you want to edit.

  3. Make your changes and click Save.

Any changes you make to a product will automatically reflect on your live store. For more details on managing products, refer to Shopify's product management documentation.

Good to know

  • You can edit at any time. There's no window or restriction on when you can make changes. Your pages are yours to modify whenever you want.

  • Edits won't affect Atlas features. Customizing your theme or products won't interfere with Atlas tools like Bundle Deals, Cart Upsells, or AI Product Photos. These features operate independently.

  • You can generate new pages anytime. If you'd prefer to start fresh rather than edit, you can always generate a new page through the Atlas page builder and import it into your theme.
