To avoid errors and get the best results when using Atlas, we recommend starting with a Shopify product rather than a third-party link.

Use the Shopify product source method

We strongly recommend importing your product to your Shopify Products first, then using that product as the source when generating your store. This method:

  • Is faster and more reliable

  • Reduces the chances of generation errors

  • Gives you more control over product titles, images, variants, and pricing

If you’re using AliExpress, Amazon, or other product links

These sources can work well, but you may run into the following issues:

  • Product-specific problems: Some links simply don’t parse well. Try a different link for the same product.

  • Regional limitations: AliExpress US links tend to work more reliably than non-US versions.

  • High traffic periods: Store generation may slow down or stall temporarily during peak usage hours.

  • Incomplete URLs: Always copy and paste the full product URL, including any variant IDs or parameters.

Tip: If you’re experiencing issues with external links, try the Shopify product source method first. It’s the most stable and gives you full control over your product setup.
