Member Roles and Permissions

It is important to notice that each member of your organization will have different permissions based on their role. When adding a new member to Notabene, you can select one of the following:

  • Compliance Officer (CO): can operate the platform, set integrations and automation rules;

  • Compliance Agent (CA): can operate the platform and use the integrations;

  • Developer (Dev): can configure tech aspects of the platform;

  • Admin (Adm): has full access rights for a VASP;

  • Group Admin: has full access rights for a Group VASP.

Admin access allows a member to do all actions, including add/remove and set roles to other members. Please select the appropriate role based on each member’s responsibilities.

Retrieve the rules from the rules engine, a tool that allows you to automatically approve or reject Travel Rule transfers.

Set rules to the rules engine

Allows updating or configuring rules within the rules engine based on the company's compliance strategy and risk appetite.

Create a new transfer

Authorizes the creation of new Travel Rule transfers on behalf of the company.

List all transfers

Grants the ability to retrieve a list of all transfers within the system. This permission provides an overview of existing transfers and their associated details.

Allows accessing specific information or details about a particular transfer. This permission enables retrieving data such as the transfer amount, sender, recipient, and transaction status.

Approve a transfer

Notify a blockchain transaction arrival

Authorizes the system to send notifications or alerts when a blockchain transaction arrives or is detected.

Update transaction with travel rule data

Allows the user to update the blockchain transaction with the associated Travel Rule message when it is found or created.

Accept a transfer

This permission allows the user to review and accept a Travel Rule transfer.

Decline a transfer

This permission allows the user to decline a Travel Rule transfer according to your internal policies.

Confirm a transfer

This permission allows the user to confirm that the destination blockchain address belongs to your VASP and receive the details of that particular Travel Rule transfer.

Reject a transfer

This permission allows the user to reject or a Travel Rule transfer when the destination address does not belong to your VASP.

Mark a transfer as not ready

Allows marking a transfer as not ready or incomplete, when a Travel Rule transfer is missing certain required information or conditions.

Query a blockchain transaction

Enables querying our system to identify any Travel Rule transfer associated with a particular blockchain transaction.

List VASPs and their trust information

Grants permission to retrieve a list of Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) and their associated trust information.

Get VASP and their trust information

Allows accessing subscription information for your company.

Get a list of admins/users for a VASP

Allows retrieving a list of users associated with a VASP and their roles.

Remove a user from a VASP

Grants permission to remove a user or administrator from a VASP.

Add a user to a VASP

Enables adding a new user to your VASP and setting their privileges.

Get a customer token to use the FrontEnd API

Grants permission to obtain a customer token needed to call the API from SafeConnect Components

Upload an address list for the internal address book

Allows uploading a list of blockchain addresses that belong to your VASP. This permission is used to import bulk address data into the system's address book to automate the confirmation step.
