In Vest we know that at the beginning of each tax declaration season in your country, you require tax forms for the immediately previous year, so depending on where you have your residence registered with us, we have two types of forms issued by our custodian DriveWealth.

Therefore we currently have two types of forms issued by our custodian DriveWealth and we explain them in more detail below:

  • Form 1042-S: is issued to report U.S. source income paid to non-U.S. citizens or residents and withholding tax information to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

  • Form 1099: is issued to taxpayers so they may provide information to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) about different types of non-employment income received during the tax year. This income may include interest from your bank, dividends from investments, or compensation for freelance work.

This income may include bank interest, dividends from investments or remuneration from freelance work*.

If you need any of these forms or have any questions please contact us at support@mivest.io and we will be happy to help you with your request.
