Other Rules & Prohibited Trading Strategies

Written by Hex Funded

Hex Funded is committed to maintaining a fair, realistic, and professional trading environment for every trader on our platform.

Certain trading behaviours and strategies are strictly prohibited. These methods either exploit simulated conditions, cannot be replicated in live markets, or create unfair and unrealistic trading advantages that undermine the integrity of the platform.

Violations of any rule in this article may result in:

  • Hard breach of the account

  • Removal of simulated profits

  • Evaluation reset

  • Account termination

1. Unrealistic or Manipulative Trading

The following strategies are strictly prohibited across all account types and stages.

Arbitrage of Any Kind

Including but not limited to:

  • Latency arbitrage

  • Hedge arbitrage

  • Reverse arbitrage

  • Broker price-feed arbitrage

Latency-Based Exploitation

Including:

  • Trading on delayed or slow data feeds

  • Taking advantage of execution delays

  • Exploiting pricing inefficiencies between feeds or platforms

High-Frequency Trading (HFT) and Scalping

Including:

  • Tick scalping

  • Micro-scalping

  • Any strategy that places an excessive number of orders within short intervals

  • Algorithmic flooding or server spamming

Front-Running or Mispriced Fills

Trading designed to exploit off-market or unrealistic price movements is prohibited. Any fill or profit that the Risk Team determines to be unrealistic may be removed from the account without notice.

2. Toxic or High-Risk Behaviour

The following behaviours are prohibited:

  • Margin usage above 80%

These behaviours are unsustainable and do not reflect the standards expected of a professional trader.

3. Cheating or Exploiting the Simulated Environment

The following actions are considered deliberate attempts to exploit the simulated environment and are strictly prohibited:

  • Exploiting demo-server freezes or data lags

  • Using delayed charts or manipulated data feeds

  • Using emulators or tools that replicate trades in artificial ways

  • Running arbitrage bots, HFT bots, or latency-based tools

  • Any strategy that cannot be executed realistically under live market liquidity conditions

If it cannot be done on a real funded account with live liquidity, it is not permitted at Hex Funded.

4. Account Access and Password Policy

To protect the integrity of every account and prevent unauthorised trading, the following rules apply:

  • You must use the original trading platform password provided by Hex Funded

  • Password changes are not permitted under any circumstances

  • Only the verified account holder may access or trade the account

  • Third-party account management services are strictly prohibited

  • Login sharing of any kind is not allowed

If you are unsure whether your EA, VPS, VPN, or copier setup is compliant with these rules, you must contact our support team and request clarification before trading.

5. Final Responsibility

Hex Funded provides the tools, platform, and structure. The responsibility for how that platform is used rests entirely with the trader.

Any attempt to bypass our rules, manipulate the platform, or gain an unfair advantage may result in:

  • Hard breach of the account

  • Forfeiture of all simulated profits

  • Evaluation reset

  • Permanent account closure

We expect every trader on our platform to conduct themselves professionally and trade responsibly at all times.
