Using the Tool

Add key school or classroom events in the Important Announcements section.
- For example: “School fair on Friday, no school Monday, coat drive happening all month.”
Share what students are currently learning under Learning Updates.
- For example: “Starting a unit on fractions in math” or “Reading Because of Winn-Dixie, chapters 6–10.”
Optional: Include Classroom/School Highlights to celebrate class or school achievements and fun moments.
- For example: “Johnny won the spelling bee, class had a great time at the field trip to the zoo.”
Optional: Include general reminders or health/safety notices under Additional Information.
- For example: “Seeing an uptick in cold and flu—please keep students home if they aren't feeling well.”
Add your email, phone number, and/or social media handles under Contact Information.
Then click Generate to get a draft of your newsletter. Be sure to review your draft newsletter and make any final edits before sharing.
