Using the Tool
(Optional) Start by selecting the Program you’re using, or leave it blank if not program-specific.
Choose the Grade Level you’re working with so the prompts match student readiness.
Pick the writing Prompt Type that you want, such as quick write, paragraph, or essay.
(Optional) Select a Genre to give the tool more context when generating prompts.
Type or paste your Topic in the box. Be as descriptive as possible about what you want students to write about to generate the most relevant prompts.
Example: Write about a time someone showed kindness to you, or describe a setting where you'd feel completely at peace.Optional: Upload a file that includes your prompt ideas or writing goals instead of typing them.
Click Generate, and the tool will produce five writing prompts that align with your input.
