The Bradford Factor Score is a measure used by employers to quantify the impact of employee absences on an organisation. It is based on the theory that frequent, short-term absences are more disruptive than occasional, longer absences.
Homerun HR comes with automatic Bradford Factor scoring built in for each member of staff. It tracks sick leave and works out the score for you, meaning you can objectively analyse your staff sick leave without doing the maths.
Can I reset the Bradford Factor Score?
The Bradford Factor Score cannot be manually reset while there are sickness records within the relevant tracking period.
The score will only return to 0 when there are no sickness records within:
the last 52 weeks (if using a rolling period), or
the current holiday period (if using a fixed period)
As long as sickness records exist within that timeframe, the Bradford Factor Score will continue to be calculated and shown automatically.
