If you believe that you are not receiving alerts for jobs in your area, and have checked both that your dispatchers and operators are properly set up and that you are able to receive push notifications, you'll want to take the following steps to ensure that your app is properly functioning on your iPhone or Apple tablet.
Step 1: Click the Settings tab on your Homepage
The first thing you'll want to do is pull up your Settings tab. You can do this by clicking the gear icon, much like the one pictured below.
Step 2: Find the HONK Partner app within your Settings
You'll then want to find the HONK Partner app within your phone. Apps are categorized in alphabetical order. Once you find it, click it to enable location services and notifications.
Step 3: Make sure your location services are turned on
You'll want to make sure that your location services are turned on and that you have push notifications enabled. It may vary depending on the type of Android device that you have.
Step 4: Return to the Settings homepage
You'll want to then return to your phone's Settings page. Once there, find the Systems page. This is where you'll be able to find your phone's latest update.
Step 5: Find the System Update button
Once you've gone into your System page you'll want to identify your System Update button. There you'll be able to see whether or not your phone is up to date with its latest version.
Step 6: If needed, update your phone
We recommend making sure that your phone is fully updated. Your phone's most recent version will ensure that all of your apps run smoothly. Outdated software can inhibit your apps from properly functioning.
Step 7: Finding your phone's storage
Once you've checked to make sure your device is up to date, return to the General page and click on Storage.
Step 8: Checking your phone's storage
To ensure that all of your apps run smoothly, you'll want to make sure that you have available storage on your phone. If your storage exceeds a certain capacity, it MAY impact an app from fully functioning. This is not just relevant to your HONK app, but also any other app you have on your phone.

Delete the app from your phone, remove yourself as a operator on your My Team page, and then re-install the app. If you continue to have problems after you've done all of these things, please email partners@honkforhelp.com.
