To start TRT with Hormn, you must meet clear medical guidelines.

Here’s what’s required:

1. Testosterone Levels

We need one blood test that includes:

  • Total Testosterone

  • Free Testosterone

  • SHBG

You may be eligible if:

  • Free Testosterone is below 350 pmol/L, or

  • Total Testosterone is below 13 nmol/L

If your levels are higher, we may recommend seeing your GP and rechecking later.

2. Other Health Markers

Your blood test also checks:

  • PSA (prostate health): Must be normal or low

  • Prolactin: Must be under 400

  • Hematocrit (HCT): Must be 0.51 or lower

  • Liver & Kidney function: Must be stable

  • Glucose: Must be 6.0 or lower

  • FSH/LH: Any reading is fine — helps show cause of low T

If anything is elevated, we may ask you to visit your GP or do a repeat test.

3. Health Questionnaire

You’ll need to fill out a short form about your medical background before your doctor consult.

4. Consent Form

Before starting treatment, you must sign a medical consent form.

5. Medical Review

A Hormn doctor will review:

  • Your symptoms and test results

  • Any risks or complications

  • Whether TRT is safe and appropriate for you

Not Eligible?

You cannot start TRT if you have:

  • Untreated sleep apnea

  • Prostate cancer

  • Uncontrolled diabetes, liver, or kidney disease

  • A prolactinoma

  • Recent heart attack or stroke (within 6 months)
