In order to enter this event you first need to log in to your horse monkey account, or sign up.

Create an Account:

  1. Please click here to complete the sign up process.

  2. Enter your name email address and password.

  3. Ensure that the box labelled 'I am an athlete' is highlighted in green.

  4. Wait for the email verification, and click the link to verify your account.

  5. You are now ready to start entering.

Enter the Nationals Championships:

  1. Once logged in, go to 'search events' and either use the search bar or the advanced filter to find the event. For instance, you can search for 'RDA' or for the venue 'Hartpury College', scroll down and find the event.

(Note: When searching for this event, make sure you use capitals e.g. type in RDA not rda)

2. Select the event, to bring up the following screen. Here, you will see the green 'enter now' button. You will also see the dates of the event, the booking dates and you can download a schedule.

3. Or you can scroll down and view the list of disciplines at the championships. Here, you will also details and contact details of the organiser and the venue.

4. For instance, if you want to enter a dressage event, click the dressage drop down, find your class and press 'enter now'

5. Once have selected to go through to enter, you will see the list of disciplines again, allowing you to go through and find your classes. Once you have found your discipline, select it and then select your class.

6. You will then be asked to select the horse and/or rider depending on the class. You can either select an athlete or horse you have saved, or you can add a new one. For instance, here I would select this athlete listed - (make sure you click on their name to take you through to the next screen).

7. You may then be asked to do the same for your horse (depending on the class)

8. You may then be asked to select which level you are competing in (depending on the class you are entering).

9. Once you have completed all the information needed by the organiser of the event, you will then reach a screen to tell you that you have successfully added that class. You will then be able to add more items on for the same horse and rider in the same discipline, or add a new combination or a new discipline. Or you can select the green banner at the bottom of the screen to take you to checkout.

10. Once you have got to your basket, you can check you have the correct classes, add/ remove class or empty your basket and start again (or if you want to delete one class you can select the 3 dots to delete just that class). Once you are ready, select the green 'proceed to checkout'.

11. You may then be asked to add some additional information that the organiser would like to know. For instance, please see the images below as examples:

Note: The athlete and horse bio is a chance for you to describe your horse/ yourself and any achievements/ interests. Once you have typed in your horse's height in hands, it will automatically convert it to cm for you.

You may be asked to upload your horses vaccination or passport, please click here for a guide on how to do this.

Then click the green 'continue' once you have filled out all the information.

12. You may then be asked some questions by the organiser of the event, please complete them and click the green 'save answers'

13. You will then be taken back to the checkout, where you can accept the T&C's (by clicking on the red circle and turning it green). There is also the chance for you to add any notes to the organiser in the notes box below. Once you have checked everything you can then select the green 'pay now'

You will also get a confirmation email and can check your booking in the 'bookings', 'completed bookings' section of your horse monkey account.

Please note: If you wish to make any changes to classes or withdrawals, this must be done directly to the organiser - the details of which can be found on the event page.

(Note: When searching for the event, make sure you use capitals to search for RDA, e.g. use RDA Virtual instead of rda virtual)

2. You can scroll down and see a list of the different disciplines that you can pick between, by using the drop downs to open and close the list.

3. Select the discipline you want to enter using the drop down, scroll through the classes and view the classes you can enter. Once you are ready to enter, select one of the enter now buttons

4. Select the group using the list and then press the class you wish to enter

As this is a virtual event you will then need to upload your URL by copying and pasting it into the box, you can then press the green 'confirm'.

You must upload a URL, not just the video straight from your phone. You can create a youtube account and upload a private video (meaning that nobody else can see the video), and then you can copy the URL from there. If needed, please click here for some information on how to do this.

7. You will then be presented with the screen to add some more classes for that combination or a different one, or use the green banner at the bottom to see the summary/ check out

8. You can then check your basket (or add/ delete items) and proceed to checkout

9. You may then be asked some questions to fill in, do this and then select 'save answers' and it will take you through to the next page

10. You can then add any notes to the secretary if you need to. Make sure you click the red circles to turn them green to show you accept the T&C's and then select 'pay now'

11. You will then be taken to the payment screen, where you can input your card details and pay. Once completed you will get a box come up confirming you have entered. You will also get a confirmation email and can check your booking in the 'bookings', 'completed bookings' section of your horse monkey account.

Please note: If you wish to make any changes to classes or withdrawals, this must be done directly to the organiser - the details of which can be found on the event page.
