Conservation

What is conservation?

  • Conservation is a function of the company that coordinates with clients, agents, and carriers to save lapse pending policies that were written within the last year. This helps to keep the families protected with coverage and prevents chargebacks for the agents.

What is the conservation process?

  • We receive weekly reports from the carriers of clients with policies in danger of lapsing.

  • We reach out to policyholders and agents to remind them or make them aware of policies in danger of lapsing.

  • Some carriers have an internal conservation team so you may receive a notification from them as well as one from us.

How long have we been using conservation efforts?

  • Since 2015!

Where can I view my conserved policies?

  • You can view the conserved policies scorecard by going to:

    • HQ> My Stats> Production

  • You can view a list of your conserved policies by going to:

    • HQ> My Clients> Conserved Policies

Where do I find carrier contact information?

  • You can find carrier contact information in HQ by going to HQ> Carriers & Products> Carrier Resources

Can I remove clients from conservation efforts?

  • Unfortunately, we cannot remove any contacts from this list, we are protecting the agents, carriers, and company from chargebacks.

Why was my client on the conservation list?

  • We received regular data feeds from each of the carriers that we work with that include policies that they have deemed in danger of lapsing. If we reach out to a client, it is because they are included in one of the data feeds.

If I need assistance with conservation support. What do I do?
