This function has been designed to allow you to capture the insurer's decision on liability, and the date the decision was made.

To update the liability decision, go to the Add Information drop down on the Summary Page, or click on the red Liability Decision button in the Claim Progress section:

From the Liability Decision page, you can update the liability status of the claim, enter the insurer's claim number and enter the date the decision was made.

Once you've updated the relevant details, you can upload a copy of the insurer's liability decision letter by dragging and dropping it into the attachments section. Alternatively, select 'Choose File' to upload.

From here, select Save if no further action is required, or Save & Email if you need to e-mail off a copy of the Liability Decision.

The liability decision and document (if you choose to attach a document) will be available on the Liability Decisions page, found under the Claim Management menu.
