The Reports page in Humaans gives you a centralised place to access, export, and manage all of your people data. Whether you need a one-off download or a recurring scheduled report, Reports makes it easy to pull exactly the data you need.
Accessing Reports
To access the Reports page:
Click Reports in the left-hand navigation menu.
The Reports page displays all available report templates and any saved reports.
Reports are available to users with Owner, Admin, and Finance roles. The data returned in each report respects the user's permissions — you will only see data you have access to.
Page layout
The Reports page is organised into several sections:
Templates
Pre-built report templates that allow quick exports of the most commonly needed data. Templates include reports like List of employees, Payroll data, Time away summary, and more. You can use templates as-is or customise the fields and filters before downloading.
Private reports
Reports you have saved for your own use. Only you can see and access these reports.
Shared reports
Reports that have been saved and shared with other users who have the Owner, Admin, or Finance role. Any user with the appropriate role can download a shared report.
Scheduled reports
Reports that are configured to be automatically sent on a recurring schedule. Each scheduled report shows its frequency (e.g. Weekly on Monday, Monthly on the 1st). Scheduled reports are always shared.
Report types
When creating a custom report, you can choose from the following report types:
Report type | Description |
People | Employee profile, employment, banking, compensation, social, diversity, and time away balance data |
Time away | Time away entries with type, dates, amounts, approval status, and reviewer details |
Equipment | Equipment assigned to employees including type, serial number, cost, and dates |
Timesheets | Submitted timesheet data with total hours, days, status, and reviewer info |
Documents | Documents attached to employee profiles with type, name, and upload details |
Identification | Identity documents with type, number, expiry, and verification details |
Workflow activity | Workflow execution details including actions, tasks, assignees, and completion status |
Change log | An audit trail of changes made to employee records with before/after values |
Payroll changes | Changes relevant to payroll processing, with effective period controls |
Requests | Request and approval details including status, approvers, and timeline |
Key actions
From the Reports page you can:
Download a template report — Click any template to open the export window, customise fields and filters, and download a CSV.
Create a custom report — Click the Create custom report button in the top-right corner to build a report from scratch.
Edit or delete a saved report — Click the three-dot menu next to any saved report to edit its configuration or delete it.
View schedule details — Click the info icon next to a scheduled report to see delivery details, next send date, and recipients.
