Manage AI features from Settings > AI > General. Owners and admins can enable AI across Humaans, then choose which individual features your company has access to. AI Companion also has specific role-based access settings.
Turn on AI features across Humaans
Click Settings in the main navigation.
Click AI.
Open the General tab.
Click Turn on AI features on the Platform-wide AI features card.
Review the confirmation and click Turn on.
The feature cards show which AI features are enabled. AI Companion and document categorisation are off by default, so you’ll need to turn them on separately. The cards you see depend on the features available to your company.
If you turned off AI across Humaans after configuring individual features, turning it back on restores access according to those feature settings.
Enable AI Companion and apply permissions
AI Companion is off by default. To choose which roles can use it:
Visit Settings > AI > General.
Click Configure on the AI Companion card.
Select Enabled.
Select the roles that can use AI Companion under Permission settings.
Click Save.
People in the selected roles can open AI Companion from the sidebar. To learn more, visit Use AI Companion.
Enable or disable an individual feature
Visit Settings > AI > General.
Click Configure on the feature’s card.
Select Enabled or Disabled.
Click Save.
The badge on each card indicates whether the feature is enabled or disabled. Features that use AI credits are identified in their configuration settings. To learn more, visit AI credits.
Some features depend on another setting:
Document file renaming requires document categorisation to be enabled.
If a feature depends on another setting being enabled, this will be indicated. Individual feature settings can’t be changed while AI is toggled off across Humaans.
Choose if new AI features are added by default
You have the option of enabling the Turn on new AI features by default toggle on the Platform-wide AI features card. Disable this option if you'd prefer to review new features before enabling them for your company.
Disable AI features across Humaans
Click Settings.
Click AI.
Select the General tab.
Click Turn off AI features on the Platform-wide AI features card.
Review the confirmation and click Turn off.
AI features become unavailable across Humaans for everyone. Your individual feature settings remain in place for when you turn AI back on.
