What’s changing with Hypernatural

Learn what changed in the new Hypernatural, how the transition works for current paid subscribers, and what happens to your videos, credits, and subscription.

Can’t generate a video even though you have credits? The prompt box on the Create page now only makes videos in the new experience. If your old plan’s credits aren’t working there, scroll down below the prompt box to the Old Experience section — jump to instructions.

We’ve launched a completely new Hypernatural to create better videos and give you more control.

Here’s what’s changing:

  • Create and edit by chatting: Ask Hypernatural to update a shot, brighten a scene, speed up the pacing, or add music that matches the vibe. Manual controls are still there when you want them.

  • Access to all top image and video models: Select from from different image and video models, including top Seedance and Nano Banana models, to get the look you want.

  • Flexible shot editing: Drag shots into a new order, extend or shorten them, update visuals, adjust pan and zoom, and choose animation style.

  • Editable audio tracks: Audio is now an editable track. Shorten clips, move them earlier or later, add more than one, and bring in music separately.

  • Stronger starting points: First drafts are higher quality, so you can spend less time fixing the basics and more time shaping the final video.

  • And more: brand new templates, a new editor, custom references, completely redesigned product and brand creation and more. You you can make videos with more precision, more quickly.

This article explains what changed, how the transition works for current paid subscribers, and what happens to your videos, credits, and subscription.

What this means for current paid subscribers

In order to use the new Hypernatural, you’ll need a new subscription. New subscriptions can be purchased here: https://hypernatural.ai/pricing

If you have an active paid subscription for the older version of Hypernatural, you’ll still be able to access the old experience for a transition period:

  • For monthly subscribers, the transition period will continue through October 2026

  • For annual subscribers, you’ll keep access through the end of your current annual subscription period.

Your videos are not going away. They’ll stay in your account.

If you stay on your current plan, you’ll continue to have access to the old experience and the credits attached to that plan during your transition period.

If you switch to one of the new plans, we handle the move for you. Your old subscription cancels the moment you switch, and any unused credits move straight into your new plan. Those unused credits from your old plan will remain available to use in the new experience for 3 months after you switch (for monthly subscribers) or through the end of your current annual subscription period (for annual subscribers).

If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play Store, switching works a little differently. Your credits still move over the same way, but you'll need to cancel your old subscription yourself. More on that below.

You’ll be able to review the new plans from your account.

What changed in the product

The new Hypernatural is a different experience from the old one.

You can still start from an idea, a prompt, a script, or your own assets. What changed is what happens next: a stronger starting point, a more flexible timeline, editable audio, and more ways to shape the final video.

Shots and audio are now editable pieces on the timeline. That means you can move shots around, shorten or extend them, add pauses, adjust pacing, and create visual-only moments without changing the script.

You can also create and edit by chatting. Ask Hypernatural to update a shot, change a visual, adjust tone, or improve the flow. Manual controls are still there when you want them.

You’ll also see better image quality in the new experience, with cleaner and more polished visuals as you create.

You can save the pieces that make your work recognizable: your style, characters, product, logo, brief, references, channel context, and repeatable formats. With Brand, future videos can pull from the same kit so your creative stays consistent across a brand, channel, or client project.

The new editor works differently from the old one, so we made a walkthrough to help you get oriented.

How to access the old experience

If you have an active paid subscription, you can still access the old experience during your transition period.

To find the Old Experience options:

  1. Open Hypernatural. You should land on the Create page, which is also the dashboard/homepage.

  2. Navigate below the prompt box

  3. Scroll down slightly, if necessary, until you see a section labeled Old Experience.

  4. There you will find the four Old Experience tiles:

    • Idea – Start from a prompt.

    • Voiceover – Used for your script.

    • Narrated Video – Used as a clip.

    • Narrated Audio – Used as audio.

What happens to monthly subscriptions

If you’re on a monthly subscription, you can keep using and subscribing to the old experience through October. During that time, you’ll continue to have access to the credits attached to your current plan.

At the end of the transition period, your current monthly subscription will end. It will not renew automatically on the old plan.

To keep making videos with Hypernatural after that, you’ll need to choose one of the new plans.

If you switch to one of the new plans, any unused credits from your old plan will remain available to use in the new experience for 3 months after you switch.

What happens to annual subscriptions

If you’re on an annual subscription, you’ll keep access to the old experience through the end of your current annual subscription period.

During that time, you’ll continue to have access to the credits attached to your current plan.

After launch, old annual plans will not receive new credits and will no longer be upgradeable.

You can switch to one of the new plans at any time. When you switch, any unused credits from your old plan will remain available to use in the new experience for the duration of your initial annual subscription period.

What happens to my videos

Your videos will stay in your account.

If your subscription ends and you have not switched to a new plan, you’ll still be able to access your account and your existing videos, but you won’t be able to export videos without an active subscription.

What happens to my credits

If you stay on your current plan, you’ll continue to have access to the credits attached to that plan during your transition period.

If you switch to one of the new plans, any unused credits from your old plan will remain available to use in the new experience for 3 months after you switch (for monthly subscribers) or through the end of your current annual subscription period (for annual subscribers).

If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play Store, your credits move over the same way. You'll just need to cancel the old subscription yourself, since we can't do that from our end for App Store or Google Play Store purchases.

Credits on the new plans work differently. Any new credits added under a new subscription will expire at the end of that subscription period.

Why plans are changing

The new Hypernatural is a completely redesigned product, with better image quality, more editing control, and a more complete workspace for making video.

The new plans are built around that new product. They give you more ways to create, edit, and finish videos in one place, with more room for brands, channels, and client work.
