The three audio layers
A Hypernatural video can combine up to three separate audio sources, each mixed independently — there's no single master volume, so adjust each layer where it lives:
Voiceover — narration read from your script
Background music — a track from the library or one you uploaded
Animation audio — dialogue, ambience, or sound effects baked into a shot's animation (only for models that include audio)
Voiceover: volume and speed
Open the Voiceover panel (click the voiceover track on the timeline) to find:
Volume — 0–100%, defaults to 50%
Speed — 0.6x to 1.75x, in steps (e.g. 1.0x, 1.1x, 1.2x...)
Voiceover is the only audio layer with a speed control. See Add, edit, or remove voiceover for the full flow.
Music: volume
Open the Music panel (click the music track on the timeline) to find Music Volume (0–100%) and a Fade in & out toggle. There's no speed control for music. See Add background music.
Animation audio: volume
Open a shot's Animate tab — once it has an animated clip, a Volume slider (0–100%) appears. No speed control here either. See Animation and audio and Adjust animation volume.
Getting started
Add your shots and animate them (check which models include audio — see Animation and audio).
Add a voiceover or background music from the Timeline.
Play back your video and adjust each layer's volume slider until the mix sounds right.
