Animation and audio

Some animation models generate background audio (dialogue, ambience, or music) along with the visuals — others generate visuals only. Here's how to tell which is which.

How animation audio works

When you animate a shot, the resulting clip can include audio baked in by the animation model itself — background noise, ambient sound, sound effects, music, or spoken dialogue — in addition to any voiceover or music you've added separately. Not every model can do this: some generate this kind of audio automatically as part of the clip (for example, Kling V3 Pro and Google Veo 3.1), while others generate visuals only, with no sound of their own (for example, Seedance 1.0 Pro Fast and PixVerse v5).

Where to check

The full lineup of models changes over time, so rather than relying on a fixed list, check the model picker in the shot's Animate tab — it labels each option Includes audio or No audio directly.

Tip: Once you know a shot has baked-in audio, you can turn it up or down without regenerating anything — see Adjust animation volume.
