i360 continues to add features to help our customers navigate rules and regulations surrounding calls and texting. For more information on other compliance-related measures we've taken, please review our Texting Best Practices guide and Voicemail FAQs.
Spam Designation
The spam indicator is now available in the Settings tab within a call survey. This spam designation is set by the major carriers (AT&T, Verizon, etc.) and local telephony providers. We are providing access to a publicly available database of phone numbers and Caller IDs that have been marked as spam. This designation is independent of your use of that number within our system. It is possible that a number is already marked as spam as soon as it is verified in the Portal.
Carriers do not share their rules on why a number gets marked as spam. However, if a number is marked as spam, it is unlikely to lose that designation. We recommend obtaining a new number to set as your Caller ID if this happens.
Setting Up Caller ID
Please review our help guide on the process of setting up your caller ID. Once a number has been verified, you'll see a 'SPAM CALLER ID' indicator in red if the number has been marked as spam.
