The Call Officials tool is available for clients with an established i360 Action site. This tool is designed to maximize outreach to local, state, and federal legislators while also keeping track of individuals who support your cause. Please contact your account manager if Call Officials would be a useful tool for your organization.
Call Officials is accessible from Digital > Web Pages. Select 'Create a Web Page' in the bottom right corner to get started with creating this page on your action site.
Call Officials Video
We recommend viewing the video for Landing Pages first if you are not already familiar with Action Pages. This video covers both Email and Call Officials.
Create Action Web Page
Enter a title, subtitle, and select topics applicable to this action. Primary topics are required, while secondary topics are optional. Primary topics appear on the action, while secondary topics are associated. Topics are created from the 'Shortcuts (+)' tab in the navigation bar. Select 'Content Topic' to create. Review our guide on creating content topics here.
Select whether to apply a content topic to the Page or Page and Respondent.

Page and Respondent: The content topic will appear on the action and attach a tag to the respondent.
Choose a start and end date. If no end date is chosen, the action will remain active as long as it is published.
Select the action site associated with your organization. Most clients will see one option available here.
Choose the action type 'Call Officials' and select the tab that is applicable to this action.
Enter a page URL that is not a duplicate of other URLs on your site. The box will highlight as red if the URL cannot be chosen.
Select 'Create Action' when ready to move on to settings.
Settings
Choose a page that individuals will see after enrolling in your Call Officials action. The default is set to 'Thank You for Registering', although you may also choose to redirect to an external link.
Display or hide an option to share and recruit.
Attach an image that will display if individuals choose to share the action on social media.
Choose to make the link public on your site or hidden as a private.
Check the options that you'd like to apply to this action:

Disable Navigation - hide the navigation bar at the top of the page when viewing this action
Disable Action Email - disable a 'Thank You' email from being sent
Restrict Display by Geography - restrict by state so that only individuals in that state will see the action
If applicable, Metadata is also available to apply to your action.
Display
The display tab allows you to customize how your site appears to individuals. Choose from a catalog of page layouts and select an image. Choose a gradient overlay type to help make your title and subtitle text more readable.
The contact form lets you choose what fields are required. For individuals to match back to i360's database, some fields are required by default.
Call
The Call tab contains a summary, description and script for your supporters to review as they're making calls.
Call Summary: Use this section to summarize the goal of the call.
Call Description: Shows under 'What to Say'. This is used to describe the call script.
Call Script: Provide instructions and give a script for volunteers to read from.
Officials (Choose Recipients)
Select the elected officials you want to call. Default recipients will receive calls from individuals that they represent. For example, if you are targeting default state senators, my call will only go to the state senators that represent my district.
Selected recipients will display specific individuals/elected officials that you want to receive your call. Default recipients will be visible here, if selected. Add specific recipients by selecting 'Add Official', then filter with applicable fields. You can choose between Executive, US House, US Senate, State, or Local.
Excluded recipients will remove anyone that may automatically be selected from default. For example, if a specific state senator is already supporting a bill, you may not want to call them. Add them to this field to remove them from your list.
Other settings include Restrict Default Recipients by State, Upload Custom List, and Quick Add Recipients. Restrict by state to limit your default recipients to a specific state. Upload a custom list or Quick Add Recipients to add phone numbers and individuals not already within the system.
Email (Thank You Page)
Customize the email that senders receive once they've completed the action. This is only applicable if you have enabled emails from the settings page.
Send test emails at the bottom to see what the email will look like. Check your spam folder if you do not see an email come through within a few minutes.
Confirmation Page
View a preview of your content page and revisit any previous tabs to make changes. Content pages are able to be edited at any time, so you may publish or unpublish as needed.
