Expanded answer

General Online Ads
For most platforms — including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, streaming services, and other digital ad networks — a properly licensed track can be used in targeted paid ads without additional royalties.

YouTube-Specific Notes
YouTube uses the Content ID system to scan all uploaded videos, including ads. Some licensed tracks may be registered in Content ID, which can trigger automated claims. These claims do not mean your use is unauthorized. With a valid license that covers advertising use on YouTube, claims can be cleared by providing proof of purchase.

‼️ Our music is licensed on a non-exclusive basis, meaning the same tracks may be used by multiple users. Please ensure your use complies with the terms and permitted uses outlined in our license agreement.

Best Practices for All Platforms

  • Ensure your license allows commercial/advertising use across all platforms you plan to run ads on.

  • Upload ads as unlisted or private first (especially on YouTube) to detect and resolve any automated claims before launching campaigns.

  • Review each platform’s music and advertising policies to confirm compliance.

  • Keep your license documentation on hand in case of claims or verification requests.

  • For complex campaigns or multi-platform use, consult a qualified legal professional.
