Survey Data Audit

The Survey Data Audit feature provides tools to examine and export survey records under specific conditions. Use this feature to confirm the accuracy of recent surveys, find missing data, or identify potential issues.

To access the function:

  1. Navigate to Report Page.

  2. Navigate to the Toolbox: In the Report page, locate the Toolbox button (usually on the top right side of the screen).

  3. Select Survey Audit Services. Survey Data Audit Page will appear.


1. Configuration Fields

Within the Survey Data Audit window, you will see several fields and checkboxes:

  1. Category

    • Select the category of survey data you want to audit (e.g., leveling, prism data, inclinometer, etc.).

    • If unsure, leave it at a default or select the category that matches your instruments.

  2. Survey Types

    • Choose which type of surveys to include (e.g., daily, weekly, manual, automatic).

    • Multiple selections may be possible, depending on system configuration.

  3. Instrument Modes

    • On Hold: Include surveys from instruments that have been put on hold.

    • In QT: Include surveys from instruments in quarantine.

    • Disqualified: Include surveys from instruments that have been disqualified for data anomalies.

  4. Options/Conditions Included

    • Export Last Record of survey data: Exports only the most recent data point for each instrument.

    • Export Last [ ___ ] records of survey data: Define how many recent data records to include.

    • Export survey data taken in last [ ___ ] hours: Restrict the data to a specific recent timeframe (e.g., 24 hours).

    • Export survey prisms which have not been read for more than [ ___ ] hours: Identify any prism that hasn’t reported data for an extended period.

    • Export survey prisms which are in alarm: Only include data for prisms currently in alarm state.

    • Export survey prisms which triggered alarm in last [ ___ ] hours: Focus on those that recently triggered an alarm.

    • Export survey prisms which triggered alarm in between [ ___ ] and [ ___ ]: Specify a custom time range for alarm triggers.


2. Generating and Exporting Reports

  1. Set Your Filters: Select or enter the desired values for the above fields.

  2. Click Export: Once satisfied with the conditions, click Export to generate a report.

  3. Review or Save the Output: Depending on your configuration, you may:

    • See an on-screen preview of the results.

    • Be prompted to download a CSV, Excel, or PDF file.


3. Common Use Cases

  • Quality Control: Confirm the latest readings for all prisms in a particular area to ensure no data gaps.

  • Alarm Tracking: Generate a list of all alarms triggered in the last 48 hours to identify potential instrument issues.

  • Historical Record: Export the last 10 readings for each survey station for analysis or archiving.
