Building Information Models (BIM’s) and 3D models from your local drive can be imported into Tobe Builder Lite to create AR Views. To upload a model from your local drive, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Select BIM or 3D model to upload
Click the Local Import button in the toolbar to open the Local Import menu
Click the Import BIM button to open the file explorer
Select your model/s then click Select
This will upload your model or BIM to your project's cloud storage.
To monitor the progress of your upload, check the Notifications panel.
Step 2: Place the Model in the Scene
Once your model is successfully uploaded you can select it from the Local Import window and place it in the scene.
Select the Model you wish to import.

Click on the map in the scene view to place the BIM.
Your model will be converted and loaded into the scene. To monitor the progress of your model conversion, check the Notifications panel.
If override geolocation is set to true in the Selection Inspector, the model will be placed at the location selected in the scene view.
If override geolocation is set to false in the Selection Inspector, the model will be geolocated as per the grid offset configured in the project setup. See this article for more details on importing georeferenced BIMs.
