You've created your account, and just need a brief overview of what to expect on the Immersion platform. We got you!
Step 1: Choose what you are going to measure!
You can choose to measure immersion data through a pre-recorded experience or a live experience. If you don't have a planned measurement in mind, we suggest trying Immersion out with fun tasks around the house like watching a TV show or online shopping, to spark some inspiration. Alternatively, you can use Immersion to measure captivation in a work meeting or to measure how well your product connects with an audience!
Whatever you decide, you choose between the pre-recorded experience or live experience tiles to get started.
Step 2: Set up logistics
For pre-recorded experiences, you can paste the link or upload the video or other pre-recorded content.
For live experiences, you have the option to set up an agenda so that you can keep track of different activities or time points in your data!
Lastly, you will set up the time of your experience. Don't fret about the exact timing as you have the chance to change it later.
Step 3: Invite Participants
Think of these participants as the equivalent of survey respondents, but instead of gathering their opinion after the experience, you will be receiving data illustrating how their brain responded to the experience. You can send out an email invitation to your chosen participants, or copy and paste a link to send to your contacts.
Not sure who to measure? Start by inviting yourself! You can also invite the Immersion team to experiences under 5 min by uploading this CSV file as you set up the experience!
Step 4: Participants will download our iPhone/Android app on their phone AND smartwatch and then participate in the experience
Participants will need to download our "Immersion Mobile" app and check that they have a supported smartwatch and updated operating system. For more detailed information on what devices and systems we support, click here.
Participants will click the link or email invite (that you sent) from their phone. It will then prompt them to engage and participate in the experience while the app collects real-time data! Cool, right?

Step 5: You can view and analyze Immersion results!
You can take a look at immersion scores and psychological safety scores on our Immersion web platform. There are a bunch of nifty features you can use to analyze the data to explore as well.
