Shift Notes

This sub-tab shows notes written by staff during or after shifts:

  • Appointment Type: The type of appointment (click to view)

  • Start: When the shift started

  • Employee: Who worked the shift

  • Shift Notes: Preview of the notes content

Click "Add Shift Note" to create a note manually. Select the appointment type, write your notes, and optionally upload a photo. The "AI Enhance" button can help improve your note text.

Click "Print" to generate a PDF of shift notes. You can filter by date range, appointment type, and employee before printing.

Incidents

This sub-tab shows formal incident records linked to this client:

  • Category: The incident type with a preview of details

  • Reported By: Who reported the incident

  • Date: When the incident occurred

  • Time: The time of the incident

This tab shows incidents that have been created for this client. To view or manage an incident, navigate to the Incidents section of the application.

AI Shift Cautions

This sub-tab shows automatically generated alerts based on patterns detected in shift notes. Only cautions with a severity score above 5 are displayed here.

  • Severity: A score from 6-10, displayed as a colored badge (red for 8-10, yellow for 6-7)

  • Category: The type of concern (e.g., Medication Compliance, Fall Risk, Behavioral Concern)

  • Date: When the caution was created

  • Shift Notes: The notes that triggered the caution

Click on a caution to view the full details. From the detail view or the action menu, you can delete the caution or convert it to an incident.

When you convert a caution to an incident, the incident title is prefilled from the AI category and the description is prefilled from the shift notes. The staff member and client associated with the shift are automatically linked to the new incident.
