Finance Contacts

Finance Contacts are external people or organizations who receive invoices. These are separate from your clients and staff.

Contact Types

  • Person: An individual contact (e.g., a family member who manages billing for a client)

  • Company: An organization (e.g., NDIA, a plan manager, or support coordinator)

Contact Details

Each contact can store:

  • Name: Person or company name

  • Email: Where invoices will be sent

  • Phone: Contact phone number

  • ABN: Australian Business Number

  • Address: Physical address

  • Bank details: BSB and account number (optional)

Adding a Contact

  1. Click "New Contact" in the toolbar

  2. Select Person or Company

  3. Enter the contact details (Name, Email are required)

  4. Click Save

Managing Contacts

Click on a contact name to open the detail sheet. From there you can edit the contact details or delete the contact if it's no longer needed.

Using Contacts

Finance contacts can be assigned as Invoice Recipients in a client's profile in the clients settings tab. When you generate invoices, the system uses the assigned contact's email and details for the Xero invoice.
