They’re useful when you want the document to sit with the work item itself (for example: forms, photos, confirmations, supporting documents, or anything that helps explain what was done for that task).
To upload a document, open the task and go to the Documents tab. Select Upload, choose a file from your computer, and the file will begin uploading straight away. As soon as you select a file, it appears in the task as a document card so you get instant feedback that it’s being added.
A few things to know about how uploads work:
The document name is set to the file name by default, and you can rename it later.
While the file is uploading, Imploy shows an “Uploading…” state to let you know it’s still in progress.
For PDFs and common image formats, Imploy generates a thumbnail preview so it’s easier to recognise files at a glance.
Once uploaded, clicking the document card opens an in-app viewer for previewable files (PDFs and common image types). If a file type can’t be previewed, clicking it will download the file instead.
If you don’t see any documents yet, the Documents tab will show an empty state prompting you to upload the first one.
