This article is intended to provide you with an understanding of how to navigate the platform, and other articles within our Help Center are focused on providing details for individual sections, data, setup, and advanced features.
Dashboard
Once you log into Inbox Monster, you'll be presented with the Dashboard. Your dashboard is fully customizable, and in its default state it is intended to provide you with the last week's Deliverability data.
In the above screenshot, each number points to the following:
The Left Side Navigation Pane: This collapsible pane is used to navigate to the different sections of the platform.
Each selection on the pane may include additional subsections to focus the included data, often by Domain vs. IP, or similar.
You'll likely be using this pane regularly to navigate through the data within your instance. We highly recommend viewing the data within each section to better understand your program.
Settings and Account Selection: The top right of the platform features a series of options
Play Button: When utilized, the Play Button allows for direct API integration use with your ESP. Several ESPs are supported, and the one-click seedlist testing options available via this button can be particularly helpful for inbox placement testing.
Account Selector: If you have access to multiple instances of Inbox Monster, they can be selected via this dropdown. Administrators may also have the option to create new "Child Accounts" via this dropdown.
Settings (Gear Icon ⚙️): Settings houses quite a few options for instance setup and customization, and the available items in this dropdown may be dependent on your permissions. Integrations, Domain/IP tracking, User controls, and Custom Notifications are all found within this section.
Help Center (Question Mark Icon ❔): Clicking this button enables you to immediately access our Searchable Help Center, which contains the article you're reading now and many others.
Notifications (Bell Icon 🔔): All In-App Notifications can be viewed by clicking this button. These notifications are delivered via a pane on the right side, and are filterable by Type.
Profile (Your User Initials): When clicking on your initials, you'll be greeted with an option to select either Profile, API Tokens, or Logout. Profile settings include configurable elements that will only apply to your individual user profile, including timezone, password resets, preferable notification channels. API Tokens allows you to create and modify API Tokens for leveraging the Inbox Monster API suite.
Filter and Date Range: The dashboard, as well as many other views within the Inbox Monster platform, offer options for selecting both filtering options and date range control. On the dashboard, for example, you can filter all available modules to reflect any one or multiple domain's data, then adjust for any date range of your choosing. Feel free to test this out on your dashboard to see how it works!
In-App Chat: When clicking the In-App Chat button in the very bottom right of the Inbox Monster platform, you'll be presented with several options for enhanced support, including:
Chat: An option to chat directly with members of our team for anything related to platform support. We're available during US Business Hours, but will also check in when available if you contact us outside of those hours.
Searchable Articles: Just like our Help Center, all articles are searchable and accessible via the In-App Chat module.
Messages: You'll find any messages from our team in this section, including New Product Release Notes, Industry News, and other items we share with all users.
