Here's what you need.

To set up this integration, you must be an administrator in both InboxMonster and Okta.

Supported Features

  • IdP-initiated SSO

  • SP-initiated SSO

Here's what to do.

  1. First install the Inbox Monster app within your Okta Organization. In Okta, go to the Applications tab and click on the Browse App Catalog button.

  2. Type 'InboxMonster' in the search field and click on the InboxMonster listing to visit the app page

  3. Click Add to install InboxMonster

  4. Within the General Settings screen, click Done to continue

  5. Add users or groups of users that are allowed to access InboxMonster as admins via Single Sign On. You must add yourself here to continue the installation process.

  6. In the General tab, copy your Client ID and Client Secret and Okta Domain.

💡 Note: If your Okta Domain is not listed in this view, it may be accessible by clicking your username in the upper-right corner of the Admin Console. The domain appears in the dropdown menu.

  7. Log into your InboxMonster account. Under the client dropdown select Setup and Integrations.

  8. Scroll down to the Integrations section and select 'Okta'

  9. Paste in the Client Id, Client Secret and Okta Domain copied from the previous step.

  10. Click Add Integration

💡Some new users may be unassigned to an account by default, and therefore unable to access your Inbox Monster account access.

If this occurs, please reach out to Inbox Monster Support for the provisioning of new users to existing Inbox Monster instances. We'll be happy to finalize the sync from our side!

And that's it! You are now able to use Okta for SSO within the Inbox Monster platform.
