When upgrading a GMC vehicle with IO6 or IO5 with an ACM module. The ACM module needs to have the code U2M on it for the ACM to add HD radio. Without this code the ACM will not include HD radio, only normal AM/FM radio. The ACM would need to be exchanged to add HD radio to the vehicle.
