When a customer gets our Mazda update. They must install the new software first then install the hardware.
One first boot of the updated radio it will ask you if you want to enable Carplay/Android Auto.
If you select no then the options for Apple Carplay & Android Auto will be grayed out under Settings then Devices.
To fix/enable Apple Carplay & Android Auto again you will have to perform a "Restore All Factory Settings"
Under Settings then System, scroll down till you see Restore All Factory Settings. Click on Restore All Factory Settings then wait for radio to restart. After which it will ask if you want to enable Apple Carplay & Android Auto. Say yes this time. :)
