Different antenna connections

If a radio is received for another region of the World that is not North America, it is possible that it may be a converted radio unit because of part scarcity.

North America will use 3 different modules from factory

Canada will use the UCQ

The USA will use the UAQ

Mexico will use the UDQ

However, the only differences between the UAQ, UCQ, and UDQ are software update versions, and the UDQ will not have an XM tuner (This results in the radio having a blue fakra and not a curry, due to being GPS ONLY), because Sirius XM is not available for Mexico. All 3 radios, UAQ, UCQ, and UDQ are for use in ALL of North America, and will have English, French, Spanish as languages, and Maps for all North America. So if a customer in the USA receives a UCQ, nothing affects the compatibility of the radio, and if a Canadian customer receives a UAQ, nothing will affect the compatibility of the radio.

As for the converted units, this is particularly the case for the UGQ and the UJQ.

UGQ - European Version - EU / Russia Navigation - Uses MW/LW/DAB frequencies

UJQ - Rest of World Version - South America / Africa / Middle East / Australia Navigation

The photo below will explain how to connect the antenna connectors for the received system if it is in fact a converted unit.

FACTORY UJQ's WITH BLACK AND GREY CONNECTORS WILL NO LONGER BE USED WITH OUR UPGRADED UJQ's.
