2018-2019 Ford Expeditions equipped with SiriusXM satellite radio will lose this feature along with radio presets. Refer to our Sync 4 SiriusXM X65 advertisement if those features are a must-have. 2020-2021 remains fully plug & play!

Although all orders will ship pre-loaded with the latest available updates, future Sync 4 updates can not be obtained via over-the-air or wifi. Rather, they can only be updated at Ford or an Infotainment facility.
FordPass (if equipped) will retain full functionality unless the owner performs a "Master Reset." The owner will have to reinstall the original Sync 3 system to repeat the FordPass Activation.
The backup camera "zoom" soft key (if equipped) may no longer toggle in then out. This is due to a non-compatible gateway module.
The Pro Trailer Backup Assist feature (if equipped) has not been tested for functionality.
The Massage Seats feature (if equipped) will work as designed utilizing the circular button on the side of the seat. However, if on-screen control is desired, a firmware update must be loaded onto each front seat module.
The heated steering wheel soft key (if equipped) may be disguised by phone data screen. Note - This applies to 8-inch Sync 4 displays only.
