This has only been seen twice in our tech lab, once by a person who had a factory Uconnect 5 in this state and came to us to see what to do about it. And one on the bench.
When it is in this menu, the radio will not go into sleep mode, as the screen stays on even when the vehicle is turned off. So this will drain the battery.
The selection to be made is the Factory Data Reset, and it is performed by simply holding down the text on the screen to do so. In both cases, this fixed the radio's problem and any pre-existing issues prior to this screen appearing.
