Now that you know where a job posting can be created, it’s time to understand all the steps you need to follow to ensure your job posting is complete. At InHire, we always recommend that a job posting includes the following details for better process management.
STEP-BY-STEP
01. When clicking on "Create job" within the Complete creation section, you will be presented with the Job Details. In this menu, fill in:
a) Name: this is the internal name of the job posting. With this name, you will identify the job within the central jobs page. For example: Senior Back-end Node.JS;
b) Department: select the department to which the role belongs. For example, a Senior Back-end Node.JS role would fall under engineering, while a Product Designer would belong to the design department;
c) Internal notes: add the job description. This is not the description that will be advertised;
d) Responsible recruiter: select who will be responsible for handling the job posting. Here, InHire users registered as recruiters will appear;
e) Responsible technical manager: select who will be responsible for evaluating the job posting. InHire users registered as technical managers will appear here;
f) SLA: enter the number of days in which the job posting should be closed. It is very important to align this deadline with the responsible technical manager;
02) Clicking on "Next" will take you to the Requisitions page:
a) Link one or more requisitions to this job posting. If you don’t want to link any, just delete them using the trash icon. Learn more about requisitions here.
03. Clicking on "Next" will take you to the Positions page:
a) Add as many positions as necessary for the job and the reason for its existence. Learn more about positions here.
04. Clicking on "Next" will take you to the Extra Fields page:
a) Click "Add row" and fill in the answers in the right-hand column, making sure they match the category in the left-hand column.
b) If you have fixed extra fields that you always need to add to every job posting, you can request our team to configure them as per the example below, so they are always suggested.
05. Next, define the type of employment and the ideal and maximum salary for the job.
06. Then, indicate whether the job has any location restrictions.
07. Specify the job's seniority and the accepted seniority levels of applicants.
08. If you want to advertise the job posting, configure everything! You can learn more about job advertising here.
09. If you have chosen to advertise the job posting, indicate whether you want candidates to receive an automatic email upon applying and configure it.
10. Done! Click "Create job"!
