An active subscription to the Automation Platform is required to integrate them. If you have subscribed the platform, and have been onboarded, you can now connect the automation builder to Zapier.
Step 1: Log into your InterFace account and select Automation Platform. Then click on Create a New Workflow and Select a trigger. For this example, we'll select InterFace forms as the trigger.
Step 2: Once the trigger is selected, perform that activity in FUB as a test. For example, if your trigger is PersonCreated, then create a test lead in FUB. In our example, we'll create a test entry in the form. Once that is done, click on Test Trigger.
Step 3: Check the Trigger Data to ensure your most recent test appears.
Now, you can proceed with setting up automations with different filter, utilities and action steps. To connect it to Zapier, open Zapier and create a new zap.
Step 4: Select Webhooks step within Zapier.
Step 5: Select Catch Hook in Trigger Event
Step 6: In configure, type "body" in Pick off a Child Key field
Step 7: Click on Continue. You should be able to see a URL. Copy this URL.
Step 8: Switch to your InterFace Account's Automation workflow. Click on Webhooks to Zapier action step.
Step 9: Paste the URL and hit test action.
Step 10: Once the test is successful, switch over to Zapier and hit Test trigger
Step 11: You should be able to see an entry with the data from the automation platform. This could contain the event data (from the event that triggered this), trigger data (additional information from FUB) and Opp data (data stored in InterFace).
Now you can proceed in setting up the zap. When done, publish and turn on the zap.
Don't forget to turn on the workflow in InterFace's automation platform!
