Rise.ai & Gorgias (V2) Integration

Learn how Rise seamlessly integrates with Gorgias, enabling you to issue store credit for compensation and order refunds.

Please note: The Gorgias integration is available only on the Premium plan or above. ​If you installed Rise.ai before 2025 you might not be on Rise.ai V2 and will need to refer to this article.


1. How to Activate the Integration

Important: The installations needs to be initiated from your Gorgias dashboard. Before proceeding, please make sure the same Shopify store URL is connected to both your Rise and Gorgias accounts.

Please note: If you have a previous version of the integration installed, please uninstall it before proceeding:

  • Delete the HTTP integration in your Gorgias dashboard

  • Delete dedicated API key in your Rise dashboard

  1. Head to the Apps section in your Gorgias dashboard → Click Apps Store and search for "Rise.ai". Click on Connect App.


2. When the pop-up appears, click Agree & Install. You’ll then be taken to a confirmation screen — review the details and click Authorize to complete the setup.

3. Next, you will be redirected to your Rise account where you'll need to allow access between Rise.ai and Gorgias.

That’s it! The integration is now complete, and you can add the Rise.ai widget in to your tickets.




2. How to use The Rise.ai Widget

In the Rise.ai widget, you'll find 3 main sections:

1. Rise.ai

Refresh Data and Link - Clicking on this link will refresh the customer loyalty data presented in the Rise.ai widget.

Please note: We recommend refreshing data for any tickets opened before installing the integration to ensure the Rise.ai widget displays the most up-to-date customer loyalty information.

Issue Store Credit as Compensation

$10 - Clicking on this button will issue $10 Store Credit

$20 - Clicking on this button will issue $20 Store Credit

Custom - Clicking on this button will open a pop-up where you can insert the required Store Credit amount to be issued.

*The custom amount is capped at $99.99 to help prevent potential errors.

Issue Store Credit for a Refund

2. Refund with Store Credit - Clicking on this link will open a new tab with a drop down menu to choose from the customers last 10 Shopify Orders. You can then select the order number to issue the full Store Credit amount for.

After selecting the order number, the next screen will display the order items. Enter the desired refund amount and click Refund.

That's it, the store credit was successfully issued. The customer will receive an email with their store credit and will be able to see the credit on their store account.

You can close the tab.

3. Wallet Information

Wallet Code - Displays the customer's loyalty code

Wallet Balance - Displays the customer's current wallet balance

Next Expiring Balance - Displays the balance of the next expiring store credit

Next Expiry Date - Displays the expiration date of the next expiring store credit

Data is up to date as of - Displays the last refresh date


Any store credit issued from your support tickets will appear in the Rise Customers Wallet tab, displayed alongside the corresponding ticket number in Gorgias.
