Learn how to integrate Rise & ReturnGO to offer seamless store credit refunds for returns

How the Rise & ReturnGO integration works

Once you integrate Rise with ReturnGO, you'll be able to issue store credit refunds directly through ReturnGO's returns portal when customers return items. The credit will be added to a customer’s wallet, along with any previously accumulated store credit.

  • Simplified credit management: Manage all customer credit from a single dashboard with better visibility and control.


How to activate the integration

Important note: If you already have a previous version installed on Rise 2.0, you’ll first need to uninstall it. You’ll be prompted to confirm whether you’d like to remove the app — click “Uninstall” and then proceed with the steps below.

1. In the Rise dashboard → Go to IntegrationsApps → Click Integrate under the ReturnGO integration.

2. Click Integrate. You will be redirected to sign into your ReturnGO dashboard. In the Integrations tab, click on ADD PRODUCT OR SERVICE and search for Rise.ai (OAuth).

3. Click the approve sign.

3. Click on CONNECT.

4. You will be redirected back to your Rise dashboard to finalize the installation.

Click on Agree & Install.

5. Click on Create Workflow.


​6. Select "ReturnGo Order Returned" Trigger and set up the workflow according to your needs. It's recommended to add a "Refund" tag to your workflow to enable tracking ReturnGO-originated store credits in the Refunds analytics tab of your Rise.ai dashboard.​ Make sure to add a title to your workflow and click Activate.


How customers will be notified about their store credit

Customers will be notified about their store credit through the Store Credit Received email notification, which you can set up in Rise. This email type is also sent if a customer is rewarded through a workflow.

Rise.ai allows you to set up different templates for various types of workflows or events, ensuring each notification matches the intent, whether it's a standard return or a special bonus.
