What is the Rewards Widget?
The Rewards Widget is an on-site widget that appears on your storefront and encourages customers to engage with your rewards program.
With the Rewards Widget, customers can:
View their total available balance.
See the balance of each payment method, including store credit and gift cards.
Generate their own referral link and share it with friends.
See the different ways they can earn rewards in your store.
This helps make your rewards program more visible and encourages customers to use their available rewards while shopping.
How to set up the Rewards Widget
`To set up the Rewards Widget:
In your Rise dashboard, go to Assets → On Site → Store Credit.
Hover over the Rewards Widget asset and click Customize.
You’ll be redirected to the Shopify theme editor.
Click Edit theme.
In the Shopify theme editor, open App embeds.
Find Rewards Widget under Rise Gift Cards & Store Credit.
Turn on the Rewards Widget toggle.
Click Save.
How to customize the Rewards Widget
After enabling the Rewards Widget in the Shopify theme editor, you can customize the widget from the app embed settings by opening the Rewards Widget dropdown under App embeds.
Preview state
Use the State dropdown to preview how the widget appears in the Shopify editor for each customer state.
Floating button - Shows the widget as a closed floating button before the customer opens it.
Member with credit - Shows the widget as it appears for a logged-in customer with an available balance.
Member without credit - Shows the widget as it appears for a logged-in customer without an available balance.
Visitor - Shows the widget as it appears for a customer who is not logged in.
Widget floating button
Use the Widget floating button settings to control how the widget button appears on your storefront before the widget is opened.
Floating button position - Sets where the floating button appears on the storefront: bottom left, bottom center, or bottom right.
Floating button shape - Sets the shape of the floating button: circle, rounded square, or square.
Floating button background color - Sets the background color of the floating button.
Floating button logo - Lets you upload a custom logo for the floating button. If no logo is uploaded, the default gift icon will be shown.
Default icon color - Sets the color of the default gift icon.
Widget panel
Use the Widget panel settings to configure the content and design of the widget when it is opened.
Primary color - Sets the main color used across the widget panel.
Text color - Sets the main text color inside the widget.
Button background color - Sets the background color of the widget buttons.
No credit message - Sets the message shown to logged-in customers who do not currently have store credit.
Show “Add to Wallet” buttons - Displays buttons that allow members to add their store credit and gift cards to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

Referrals
Use the Referrals settings to configure the referral section shown in the widget.
Show referrals section - Displays the referral section in the widget.
Caption - Sets the small text shown above the referral offer.
Title - Sets the main referral title.
Subtitle - Sets the text that explains the referral offer.
Button text - Sets the text shown on the referral button.
Visitor hint - Sets the message shown when the customer is not logged in.

Ways to earn
Use the Ways to earn settings to configure the earning options shown in the widget.
Show ways to earn section - Displays the ways to earn section in the widget.
Title - Sets the title of the section.
Number of rows - Sets how many earning options appear in the widget.
Row title - Sets the title of each earning option, such as Sign up, Cashback, Birthday, Refer a friend, or Leave a review.
Row subtitle - Sets the description shown under each earning option.
Row reward - Sets the reward value shown for each earning option.
Visitor
Use the Visitor settings to configure what customers see when they are not logged in.
Visitor title - Sets the main title shown to visitors.
Visitor description - Sets the message shown under the visitor title.
Visitor button text - Sets the call-to-action button text shown to visitors.
Visitor footer text - Sets the text shown under the visitor button.
Visitor sign-in link text - Sets the sign-in link text for returning customers.
Click Save in the top-right corner of the Shopify theme editor.
