How to Customize the Gifting pop-up

When Rise creates the gift card page in your store, we automatically add a Send as a Gift button. In this pop-up up the customer can insert the recipient's details, add a greeting message, select an image (that will appear in the greeting experience), and schedule a future date for the gift card to be sent out on.

This pop-up is fully customizable and designed to enhance the gifting experience.

In your Rise dashboard, go to Assets → On Site → Gift cards. Then, hover over the Gifting pop-up asset and click Customize.

Merchants can now choose which gift card sending methods are available to Customers at checkout. Email remains the core delivery option, allowing buyers to instantly send a digital gift card directly to the recipient’s inbox for a fast, seamless experience. We strongly recommend keeping the Email method enabled to ensure a reliable and convenient delivery option for both the buyer and the recipient.

In addition to Email, merchants can also choose to enable the Print-at-Home option. With Print, the buyer receives the gift card via email, prints it, and physically hands it to the recipient—perfect for in-person gifting or special occasions. Merchants have full control over whether to offer Email only, or Email plus Print, based on their brand experience and Customers’ needs.

​Greeting card images -

Upload images that customers can choose from when sending a gift card. These images will appear on the greeting card the recipient receives.

Text font: Choose the font that will be used across the pop-up.
​Primary color: Sets the main accent color (e.g., for buttons and highlights).
​Secondary color: Used for secondary elements and accents.
​Background color: Defines the background of the entire pop-up.

Send as a gift button: Label for the button that launches the pop-up.
​Pop-up title: The main title customers see at the top of the pop-up.
​Greeting message placeholder: Default placeholder text in the message box the sender fills out.

Please Note: The Greeting Message is limited to 500 characters.
​Add to cart button: Text on the final action button that adds the customized gift card to the cart.
