What is the greeting card page
When the recipient of a gift card receives the gift card email, it will include a button that directs them to view their gift card. By default, this button opens the Greeting Card Page.
Once the customer clicks the View Your Gift Card button, they will be directed to the Greeting Card Page.
After clicking See Your Gift, they will be directed to the Gift Card Claim Page.
How to customize the Gift Card claim page
You can customize the greeting card page to fit your brand. You can check out more examples here.
To customize the Greeting Card Page, go to the Gift Card assets tab → Greeting Experience customization section.
Logo - This image will be displayed above the greeting card. We recommend using your store’s logo to reinforce branding.
Cover image - This image will appear on the front cover of the virtual greeting card. Choose an image that fits the tone of your store. (optimal ratio 400X400)
Background image - you can also upload an image to use as the background. Note that there is no fixed optimal ratio; if the image is too small, it will automatically duplicate to fill the space.
Design settings -
In the Design section, you can customize the colors used across the Greeting Card Page and the Gift Card Claim Page. These settings apply to both pages.
Available fields include:
Greeting card background color: Sets the background color behind the card content.
Greeting card text color: Defines the color of the message text inside the card
Button color: Changes the color of the button shown to the recipient.
Page background color: Adjusts the color of the entire page background.
Test Customization -
In the Text section, you can edit the text that appears on both the Greeting Card and Gift Card Claim Page.
Greeting card section:
Salutation: The greeting line at the top of the card (e.g., “Hi”).
See your gift button: The text on the button that the recipient clicks to view the gift.
Gift card info section:
Back button: Text for the button that returns the recipient to the greeting.
Go to site button text: The label for the button linking to your store (e.g., “Visit {{shop_name}}”).
Go to site button link: The store URL (e.g.,
{{shop_url}}).Code label: Label above the gift card code.
Current balance label: Text above the balance amount.
Redeeming instructions: Instructions shown for how to use the gift.
To preview your design, click the Preview button at the top right. Don’t forget to click Save once you're done customizing.
