How to add the Rise.ai tiles to your Shopify POS
To add the tiles, go to your Shopify POS → click Add tile → select App → choose Rise.ai: Gift Cards & Loyalty → then select the tiles you want to add from the following two options:
Sell physical gift cards – necessary, allows you to create a gift card code.
Check gift card balance – optional, allows you to check the outstanding balance of a specific gift card code.
1. Click on Add tile

4. Select the tiles you want to add out of the following two options:
How to sell physical gift cards from Shopify POS
Once the tile is on your POS home screen, follow the next steps:
Tap the 'Sell physical gift card' tile
Insert a code or 'Use camera scanner' to scan it from an existing physical card
Select the amount you want to top up the gift card with
Once you've defined the gift card code and amount, click 'Add to cart'
From that stage, process the order regularly by heading to the checkout
Note: adding a customer to the order will also reflect in the Rise dashboard, where you will see it assigned to the specific gift card

3. Select one of the preset amounts or manually enter the desired value of the gift card:
* The optional variants here are based on the variants you set up for your e-gift card product, with the 'Custom amount' being optional by default.
4. Once you've defined the gift card code and amount, click Add to cart
5. From there, process the order regularly by heading to checkout.
*Before, you can add a customer to the order. This will make the customer be assigned to the specific gift card on your Rise dashboard
How to check the balance of a gift card on Shopify POS
Once the tile is on your POS home screen, follow the next steps:
Tap the 'Check gift card balance' tile
Insert the required code or 'Use camera scanner' to scan it from a physical car
Note: this functionality is case-sensitive

** You can also request that QR codes be printed on the gift cards so that they can be scanned in your Shopify POS. Note that to achieve that, the QR code needs to be added in following format:
shopify-giftcard-V1-{{code}}
