Why Renting Buyers Can Accelerate Your Deals
Your Investorlift buyer list is a powerful asset - but sometimes you need to reach beyond it. The Renting Buyers feature lets you tap into Investorlift's broader buyer database for a single marketing campaign, putting your deal in front of buyers you couldn't reach before.

Key Advantages of Renting Buyers
Unlock New Buyer Bases: Gain access to a pool of buyers outside your existing list.
Retain Interested Buyers: Any buyer who engages with your property is permanently added to your list.
Accelerate Sales: Get your deal in front of more qualified buyers faster.
Boost Your Profits: Expanded visibility increases the chances of better offers and faster closings.
How It Works
Renting Buyers allows you to send one marketing campaign - either email or SMS/MMS - to a curated audience of Investorlift buyers that match your property's criteria.
After the campaign is sent, any buyer who engages - through a property request, address inquiry, or profile subscription - is permanently added to your buyer list, fueling organic list growth with every campaign you run.
π‘ Cost: Renting a buyer costs 25 IC ($0.25 per buyer), regardless of buyer quality. Learn more about Investorlift Credits.
How to Rent Buyers on Investorlift
Follow these steps to set up your Renting Buyers campaign:
Go to your property listing and select New Marketing Campaign.
Enter your Campaign Title and Email Subject Line, choose your Campaign Type and Channel, then click Continue.
Select Select Buyers using Geotags, then choose Rent Investorlift Buyers.
Use the filters to refine your target audience based on your preferences.
Click Continue and complete the campaign setup.
How to Maximize Buyer Quality
With a large buyer database available, using filters strategically is the key to reaching the right audience. Here's how to get the most out of your rented buyers:
Start with VIP and Vetted buyers as your baseline - these are the highest-quality buyer segments on the platform.
Exclude wholesalers and daisy chainers using geotag filters to remove non-end-buyers from your list.
Exclude Nationwide and Statewide buyers to narrow your list to buyers with more specific geographic interests.
Use the Buyer Score filter to further refine your audience. Higher scores indicate more active buyers, but they can also be harder to engage - experiment with ranges (e.g., 2,000β10,000) to find what works best for your deal.
Apply Geotags if you need to narrow by property type or regional focus.
Running a Campaign on a $100 Budget
You don't need a large budget to see results. With $100 (400 buyers at $0.25 each), smart filtering can get you in front of fewer but higher-quality buyers - which often drives better engagement than a broad, unfiltered blast.
Example Campaign
Here's a real example of how to filter down to under 200 high-quality buyers for under $50:
Select Vetted buyers only.
Exclude Nationwide and Statewide buyers.
Exclude mega buyers.
Set buyer score range to 8,550β16,000.
Result: 187 high-quality buyers targeted at a total cost of $46.75.
π‘ Why it pays off: SMS campaigns can reach 15% click-through rates. Even at 10%, that's ~20 buyers actively checking your listing, submitting requests, or making offers - all of whom get permanently added to your buyer list for future campaigns.
Renting Buyers not only expands your reach for the current deal - it strategically grows your buyer list with every campaign, making each future broadcast more powerful than the last.
